2009 - 2nd Annual Great Bay Music Festival
Parking & Transit Information:
The promoters of the 2nd Annual Great Bay Music Festival held on beautiful Bayview Road in Dover, New Hampshire, are passionate about supporting the use of less fossil fuel, and decreasing adverse environmental impact locally, globally, and on the show site itself.
We are advocating that 3 day camping attendees carpool with others as much as possible. We are asking that all attendees come fully prepared with everything you need for a good show. We will be charging a fee , per incident, for re-admittance to the main grounds if you need to leave the site for extra/forgotten provisions this year. This will help promotedecreased traffic on our quiet, local roadways.
We will have diverse vendors selling food, beverages, and crafts that you can purchase at the show. Our goal for this years show is also to collaborate with public transportation to shuttle day visitors to and from the show site. We invite you to check our webpage often for updates on all transit & parking information for the 2009 Great Bay Music Festival.
We will have parking attendants on site to help you with your parking needs while at the show. As always, for your protection and pleasure while at the show, we ask you to lock your car. We cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen articles while you are at the festival.
Parking Options:
Parking is available on-site for a substantial number of vehicles. That being said, arrive early and plan on staying. Parking IS still limited and once it's gone, it's gone. The property owner will make this determination in the best interest of the event and the land. If the lot is full when you arrive, you will be directed to satellite options (see below).
The folks at UNH have graciously told us that "Lot A" is available for public use after 6pm on Friday 9/18 until 5am Monday 9/21/09. This parking lot is only 4 miles (approx.) away from the site. Also, Wildcat Transit has bus routes that will bring you closer to the event. In particular, they have a stop at Wagon Hill Farm on Rt. 4 that is only a couple miles away, and another stop on the other side of the Back River Road lights that suits as well. You can find their transit schedule HERE.
Please note that if you choose to use UNH parking, you are doing so at your own risk. This lot has been made available as a convenience. UNH and Great Bay Music Festival will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items, property damage, or personal injury resulting from your decision to park there and find appropriate transportation.
